TechSavvy Solutions is the repair and IT arm of a small technology practice run by Charell Williams out of Stanwood, Washington. The work is device repair, IT support, electronics, and drones, for households, small businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies across Snohomish County. All of it comes to you, remotely, on site, or through pickup and return.
Where the experience comes from
Charell spent years supporting public education technology before starting TechSavvy: field technician for the Edmonds School District and computer support specialist for the Northwest Educational Service District (NWESD 189), the regional agency serving districts across Snohomish, Skagit, Island, and Whatcom counties.
That work is why the business is shaped the way it is. Districts and agencies run mixed-age equipment on fixed budgets, and the job is keeping it working rather than recommending replacement. Small businesses and nonprofits have the same problem with fewer people to solve it.
Skip the repair shop
Nobody enjoys driving across town, waiting at a counter, and leaving a laptop with a stranger for a week. So we built the business the other way around. Support happens remotely, at your home or office, or through pickup and return, and the money that would have gone into a lease stays in the price instead.
The rest of the practice
Web design and search work lives at Built By TechSavvy, a separate arm with its own site, because a business hiring a repair technician and a business hiring a web team are looking for different proof.
Youth STEM and STEAM programming runs through Young Minds Chess Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings chess, coding, and emerging technology to young people.
Certifications
TechSavvy Solutions is minority owned and certified as an MBE, DBE, and SBE through the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises, and separately certified by King County. Those certifications matter because they open public sector and prime contractor work, and because they represent a standard we are held to.
