Drone diagnostics and repair

Almost nobody in this area repairs drones. Most owners are told to send the aircraft back to the manufacturer, wait weeks, and pay close to replacement cost.

What we look at

Crash and impact damage. Arms, shells, landing gear, and the internal damage that a clean looking airframe can hide.

Motors and speed controllers. A drone that drifts, will not hold altitude, or throws a motor error on takeoff.

Gimbal and camera faults. Stabilization that has stopped stabilizing, and camera modules that no longer communicate.

Firmware, calibration, and configuration. Compass and IMU calibration, controller binding, and the software problems that get mistaken for hardware failures.

Why this is quoted rather than listed

Airframes and parts vary too much for a price list to mean anything. A shell for one model costs a fraction of the same part for another, and crash damage is rarely limited to what is visible. The diagnostic comes first, then a real number.

Commercial operators

If you fly for survey work, real estate, inspection, or agriculture, downtime costs more than the repair does. Tell us what the aircraft does for you and we will work to that timeline rather than a generic one.

Before you send it back to the manufacturer

Get a second opinion first. Manufacturer service often quotes near replacement cost with a multi week turnaround, and a meaningful share of what comes to us is a calibration or a single component rather than a write off.

Three ways we reach you

Skip the repair shop. We come to you. Every job runs through one of three routes, and we tell you which one yours needs before anything starts.

Remote

Remote support

From $79

Screen share from wherever you are. Software troubleshooting, configuration, optimization, and anything that does not need hands on the hardware.

A $49 remote diagnostic applies where a diagnosis is needed first, and it is credited toward approved remote service.

Best for slow machines, malware, settings, accounts, and software that stopped cooperating.

On site

On site tech support

$149 first hour

We come to your home or business. The first hour and the travel inside the standard service area are both included in the price.

After the first hour, $99 per hour, billed in 30 minute increments at $49.50.

Best for networking, Wi-Fi, printers, workstation setup, installations, and business IT.

Pickup and return

Pickup and return repair

$49 all in

We collect the device, diagnose it, quote it, do the work in a controlled workspace with the right tools and proper testing time, and bring it back finished.

The diagnostic is included in the $49. Decline the repair and $49 is all you owe.

Best for screens, batteries, fans, drives, memory, internal cleaning, and any repair that means opening the machine.

Pickup and return is $49 inside the standard service area and the diagnostic is included in it. On approved repairs of $249 or more the $49 is credited toward the repair, so it costs you nothing. See exactly what you pay.

No storefront. No problem.

TechSavvy brings professional technology support directly to you. For repairs requiring specialized tools or extended testing, we will pick up your device, repair it, test it, and bring it back.
